Baltimore County Fire Department Supporting Coats for Kids Campaign

For 25 years WBAL Radio has been organizing the Coats for Kids Campaign. With the giving season just around the corner, it's time to start considering cleaning out your closet.

The initiative is simple.

Look through your old coats—you know, like the one your mother bought your 10 years ago that you thought you'd eventually like one day, but didn't.

Then bring it to your local Zips Dry Cleaners (see participating stores below), who will clean it for you free of charge.

Like I said—simple.

The deadline for donations is Nov. 10.

The Baltimore County Fire Department will distribute the coats to needy children during Thanksgiving week at the Woodlawn and Dundalk stations.
