Baltimore County Police Search for Suspects in Home Invasion, Robbery

Victims were tied up and robbed.

Baltimore County Police have released several pictures of people that they want to question about home invasions in Pikesville. 

Police believe two March 4 robberies in the city may be related.

In the first incident, on the 700 block of Leafydale Terrace, a man got out of his car in front of a home when he was approached by two masked men with handguns. They fled the scene towards Milford Mill Road.

  • The first suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, and 6' tall.  He was wearing a black leather jacket, a ski mask, and dark blue jeans. He was armed with a silver handgun.
  • The second suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 26 years old, and 5’8” tall. He was wearing a black jacket, a ski mask, black jeans, and brown boots. He was armed with a dark colored handgun.

In the second incident, police responded to a home in the 3200 block of Hatton Road.

From Baltimore County Police:

The initial investigation indicates that the victim heard a knock at his door around 8:15 p.m.. He answered the door and observed two people standing on his front porch. One person was holding an empty cup and asked him for some water. The victim took the cup and turned to go to the kitchen. The subjects then entered the home. One of the suspects displayed a handgun, and forced the victim and his teenage daughter into the living room. Once in the living room, the other suspect tied up the man and his daughter.

Several computer tablets, jewelry, a camcorder, a wallet, cash, an iPod touch, and a cell phone were taken from the location. The suspects moved a television from the basement but left it at the location.

The suspects fled the scene when the victim told them he had activated the alarm.

  • The first suspect is described as a black male, 28 to 30 years old, and 6' tall. He was wearing a black, parka-style ski jacket, a brown mask that covered his face from the nose down, black pants and brown work boots. This suspect was armed with a silver handgun.
  • The second suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, and 5’10” tall. He was wearing a black jacket, black mask that covered his face from the nose down, and black pants.

The victims received minor injuries that did not require transportation to a medical facility.

Residents are urged not to answer the door for a person that they do not know and to report any suspicious activity to police.
