CRIME LOG: Another Gun Stolen, Rite Aid Robbed at Knife-Point & More

The following information regarding police activity in Cockeysville, Hunt Valley and North County was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Cockeysville, Hunt Valley and towns to the north together reported arguably the worst week of 2013 when it comes to crime.

There were nine burglaries—including one excessively aggressive break-in—as well as an armed robbery, a case of harassment, a very good dog and a dropped cell phone that helped a police investigation.

In my opinion however, the worst thing that happened last week was that another handgun was reported stolen. That makes at least three incidents in 2013 where a gun or multiple guns were included in a burglar's haul. But more on that later.
