CRIME REPORTS: Armed Robbery and Burglaries

A man was robbed at knifepoint, while local businesses and residential neighborhoods were burglarized in the last week.

Six burglaries and one armed robbery were reported in the Lutherville-Timonium and Cockeysville areas in the last week. 

Saturday Dec. 11 was particularly troublesome for Baltimore County police. There were three burglaries, two of which involved thefts of off-road vehicle equipment, and a man was robbed at knifepoint. 

The following crimes took place between Dec. 7 and Dec. 11, according to Baltimore County police incident reports:

Burglary: An unknown suspect pried his or her way into an apartment on Nightingale Way in Lutherville on Dec. 7. The suspect stole a computer, 24-inch monitor and a Sony Playstation 3.

Burglary: Someone stole a GPS device and money from an unlocked car parked on Croftley Road in Timonium on Dec. 8.

Burglary: Two black men stole $3, a laptop and a laptop case from an office suite on Joppa Road on Dec. 9. A representative from the office said she discovered the items were stolen the following morning. The men were caught on surveillance camera committing the burglary. There was no forced entry into the office suite, according to the incident report.

Burglary: A burglar stole the ignition assembly from a Honda ATV from a home a home on Thorton Mill Road in Cockeysville on Dec. 11.

Burglary: An unknown suspect cut the padlock from a barn at a residence on Western Road in Cockeysville and stole a dirt bike on Dec. 11.

Armed Robbery: A man was threatened at knifepoint on Dec. 11. The suspect, a Hispanic man with braided hair, demanded money from the victim in the 600 block of Cranbrook Road in Cockeysville. The victim surrendered $400 to the suspect. The suspect is described as 5-foot-5-inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray striped shirt and blue jeans. The victim ran away after giving the suspect his money.

Burglary: Two black men stole four laptops from Mid-Atlantic Air, a construction company located on Padonia Road. The suspects took the laptops and ran away from the location on Dec. 11.
