Lutherville-Timonium Crime: Burglars Target Jewelry

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Lutherville-Timonium's two-week streak of no major crimes ended last week with several burglaries. If you want to be more in touch with the issues affecting your neighborhood reach out to the Precinct 7 Police Community Relations Council.

The Log:

Cinder Road, unit block, between 11 p.m., Dec. 9 and 1 p.m., Dec. 11. A burglar stole “various jewelry” from a 63-year-old Timonium woman. The burglar forced open the rear basement window, destroying security locks in the process.

Suburban Greens Drive, 2100 block, 7 a.m., Dec. 12. A burglar stole antique coins, silver certificates and jewelry. The intruder was able to get inside the home through a rear window.

Hunters Ridge Road, 200 block, between 3 and 7:45 p.m., Dec. 10. A burglar stole jewelry from an unlocked Timonium home.

East Timonium Road, 200 block, between 8 a.m., Oct. 21 and 6 p.m., Dec. 10. A burglar stole four gold rings and silverware. There were no signs of forced entry.
