Lutherville-Timonium Crime: Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint, Police Arrest Alleged Bike Thief

York Road, 1500 block, at 1:50 p.m. Nov. 4. A clerk was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect came into the gas station and bought a soda. As the clerk handed the man his change, the robber pulled a handgun from his front pocket and demanded money from the register, police said..

The suspect was last seen headed eastbound on Margate Road. The suspect is described as a white male, between 19 and 23 years old, brown hair, wearing a black hooded “skater” jacket with a white undershirt, jeans and tennis shoes, according to an incident report.

Greenspring Drive, 1500 block, at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 3. Police arrested a minor suspected of from a man’s backyard.  The 17-year-old suspect was apprehended at the intersection of Seminary and Francke avenues, police said. The bike was recovered and returned to its owner. Police are actively working on cracking down on bicycle thefts in the area, .

Ring Leaf Court, unit block, between 8:30 and 8:55 p.m. Nov. 1. An unlocked car was reported stolen out of the victim’s driveway. The vehicle contained the victim’s purse, according to the incident report. No further information is known at this time.

Falls Road, 12000 block, between 2:19 p.m. and 2:48 p.m. Oct. 31. A 50-inch Panasonic plasma television, diamond ring and pearl jewelry set were reported stolen. The burglar broke into the house using a sledge hammer found in the victim’s open garage. The burglar then broke out the window of the home’s side door and reached inside to unlock the deadbolt, police said.
