Lutherville-Timonium Crime: Homeowner Catches Burglar & More

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Points of interest:

The week before Superstorm Sandy blew through town there were only two reported crimes in the area.

The week of the storm, there were six. The worst reported incident involved a homeowner catching a burglar in the act (see below).

Also, it appears that burglars have moved on from unlocked doors and are now looking for unlocked windows. Good rule: If it has a lock, use it.

And finally, with the cold weather on the way, it appears burglars are targeting jackets, coats and the like.
