Margate BP Robbed at Gunpoint

A clerk was assaulted during the armed robbery.

A 22-year-old Baltimore man was attacked during an armed robbery at a Lutherville-Timonium gas station last week.

A man between the ages of 18 to 20 pulled a gun on the clerk at the Margate BP gas station in the 1600 block of York Road at 4:30 p.m., on Jan. 17. The assailant was carrying what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun.

The robber struck the cashier with the handle of the handgun and stole and unspecifed amount of cash out of the register. 

The suspect was last seen heading northbound on York Road on foot.
