North County Crime: Boy Catches Burglar in Dining Room

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Pen Delle Court, unit block, 6:45 p.m., Sept. 23. Burglars tried to pry open a rear door, but failed. 

Harcum Road, 13700 block, between 9 a.m., Sept. 18 and 4 p.m., Sept. 22. A pearl necklace and several gold necklaces were stolen. 

Bushland Road, 17500 block, between July 9 and Sept. 19. Jewelry, silver sets and watches were stolen. The homeowner told police his doors were most likely unlocked.

Stockton Road, 1900 block, between 9 a.m. and 3:05 p.m., Sept. 21. Three rings and a Verizon tablet were stolen out of an unlocked home. 

Stanwick Road, 2400 block, between 2:45 and 2:55 p.m., Sept. 20. A 13-year old boy discovered an intruder in his parent's dining room. The boy left the garage door and interior door wide open after coming home after school. The burglar left after being spotted.

York Road, 10800 block, between 5 p.m., Sept. 15 and 9:15 a.m., Sept. 16. Burglars stole four custom, wood, farm-style tables from Rusty Love Vintage Rentals. The suspect(s) broke the front door glass to get inside.
