North County Crime: Timonium Man Robbed at Knifepoint in Car

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Editor's Note: The following incidents were reported betwen Oct. 20 and Oct. 27. Normally, the crime log is posted every Monday morning, however Hurricane Sandy pushed back publication. Look for the next crime log entry Monday, Nov. 5.

Cranbrook Road, unit block, 2:32 a.m., Oct. 27. A set of sports headphones were stolen from Radio Shack.

Stenersen Lane, unit block, 6:13 a.m., Oct. 26. A 22-year-old Timonium man was sleeping in his car when suddenly he awoke to a man tapping on his window. The man displayed a knife and grabbed the victim by the throat before taking his cash, a U.S. passport and a Garmin GPS.

Wiseburg Road, 1300 block, between 7:30 p.m., Oct. 24 and 11:37 a.m., Oct. 25. A laptop computer, tower computer and antique slot machine were stolen from Dixon’s antiques.

York Road, 11200 block, between 11:30 p.m., Oct. 16 and 11:30 p.m., Oct. 18. A burglar cut down the So Yo Yogurt banner and stole it.

Deepwater Court, unit block, between 10 p.m., Oct. 20 and 9:15 a.m., Oct. 21. A burglar destroyed windows to five cars, stealing money, an iPod, a gym bag, clothing, a camera, laptop, GPS device, toolset and a CD player.
