Teens Charged With Lutherville Bike Thefts

The following information regarding alleged criminal activity in Lutherville-Timonium was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested two boys for stealing bikes in a Lutherville neighborhood, according to Baltimore County police incident reports.

Between 10 and 10:50 a.m. on Jan. 30, in the 100 block of Greenmeadow Drive, police said two 16-year-olds stole three bikes from outside three homes.

Police arrested the teens on the scene and recovered the bikes. The two boys were charged with fourth-degree burglary and petty theft.

The same neighborhood was hit by a series of car break-ins on Jan. 11. The burglar smashed five car windows to steal cell phones, purses, makeup and cash.

The two incidents do not appear to be related, based on the suspect's description.
