Police Investigating Human Body Found in Baltimore County

The investigation was spurred by the discovery of skeletal remains Wednesday in Reisterstown.

Baltimore County police continue to investigate the discovery of a dead body, days after uncovering the remains of a human hand in Reisterstown, according to a media advisory.

The body of an unidentified male was discovered in the Hanover Pike and Butler Road area Saturday morning.

“Police investigators had returned to the area to conduct a detailed search after a human hand had been found earlier in the week near the 300-block of Hedgepocket Way, 21136,” the release states.

Police have not yet identified the corpse, nor have they provided a description at this time.

The remains have been transported to the the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

Police are asking anyone who may have information to contact detectives at (410) 307-2020. 

The hand was discovered by a landscaper working in the 300 block of Hedgepocket Way Wednesday morning. Police confirmed the discovery Thursday.
