Police Seeking Info For Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Investigators are asking for eye witnesses to come forward.

Baltimore County police crash team investigators are asking for eye witnesses to provide any information they can regarding the fatal motorcycle accident that claimed a Baltimore resident's life two weeks ago. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 410-887-5396. 

Police responded to the intersection of Shawan and Beaver Dam road on the morning of Oct. 27 for head-on collision between a motorcycle and an SUV. Days later, police identified John William Moschetto 58, of the 700 Block of Hollen Road in Baltimore, as the motorcycle operator who was pronouced dead at the scene.

Investigators noted that Moschetto "lost control" of his motorcylce, crossing over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic where is bike careened head-on into a Toyota 4Runner. 

The man driving the 4Runner was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries. Three others in the vehicle, a woman and two juveniles were taken to other area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to an earlier story.
