Small Fire Forces Hotel Evacuation

An unattended stove top leads to excess of smoke.

A small fire at the forced hundreds from their rooms Wednesday night. 

Occupants said they saw smoke billowing from under the door of a third floor room. The fire was allegedly caused by an unattended stove top. 

There were no injuries.

The initial alarm went out a little before 10:30 p.m. Baltimore County firefighters arrived shortly after. Guests were allowed to reenter the hotel at 11:52 p.m. after firefighters used exhaust fans to quell lingering smoke.
