“Naturally I was shocked. Naturally, it was devastating," Castle said. "I was particularly upset for my neighbor, who lost everything.”

Castle said she will hopefully be able to move back into her home in three months.

The fire started next door to Castle's home. When firefighters arrived at the scene at 1:43 p.m., they discovered smoke billowing from the rooftops.

The fire soon spread to the adjoining rooftops. Firefighters extinguished the blaze in 25 minutes, though two of the four homes suffered extensive interior and roof damage.
