Baltimore Sun: Rep. John Delaney, a first term Democrat, downplayed rumors that he is considering running for governor. Delany said that it is his expectation that he will continue to serve in Congress. 

Grandson of Late Delegate Charged with Stealing Campaign Funds 

Washington Post: Philip Harrison II, the grandson of the late Del. Hattie Harrison, has been charged with stealing $17,600 from her campaign. Philip Harrison II allegedly wrote unauthorized campaign checks to himself and used funds to pay bills.  

Maryland PIRG Backs 5-Cent Bottle Deposit  

Capital Gazette: Maryland Public Interest Research Group delivered a petition with 7,000 signatures to the Maryland State House on Monday advocating for a 5-cent redeemable deposit on recyclable bottles and cans.
