County to Discuss Improving Watershed Near Loch Raven Reservoir

The Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability wants public input on the plan.

Baltimore County will be presenting its plan to protect the watershed area east of Loch Raven Reservoir.

The Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability and the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy are co-hosting a community meeting about efforts to protect the area at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 7 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 13300 Manor Road in Glen Arm, according to a news release.

Community input from residents and businesses will be sought on the plan, which is aimed at trying to improve stream health in the area.
