Epic Pizza Shuttered Following Disagreement With Landlords

The locks were changed more than a week ago, according to signs posted on the storefront window in the Padonia Village Shopping Center.

There are two startling notes that have been posted on the storefront window at 25 East Padonia Road. 

They both say the same thing: 

"The landlord has changed the locks of these premises in order to gain access, pursuant to the terms of the Lease..."

All that is left on the inside are the remnants of what was once a popular pizza and sub shop in the Padonia Village Shopping Center. The same pizza that Patch called the second best slice in Timonium.

It took a turn to Twitter to confirm that Epic Pizza had closed down.

"Sorry. It's true. Fought the landlord but lost. We protested our incredible high $/sq ft. that rival those of in inner harbor!" [sic] reads a tweet from the pizza shop's Twitter handle @myepicpizza. No word yet on whether the Epic Pizza brand will be relocating. 

The shopping center landlords at Continental Realty Corp. have already placed the 1,671-square foot space up for lease.

Representatives from Continental Realty have not returned multiple calls seeking comment.
