EVENT: It Ain't Over Till the Fat Lady Sings

Mays Chapel North is asking the citizens of Baltimore County in Timonium to help them save there beautful park built at the expense of the Baltimore County Recreation and Parks.

There will be a meeting of the new Save Mays Chapel Park committee on Thursday, July 19, at 7 p.m. at the , 11911 Jenifer Road, Timonium (corner of Mays Chapel and Jenifer Roads).

Baltimore County is attempting to seize legally-deeded existing park land from residents of Mays Chapel North to build a 700-student elementary commuter school. In Mays Chapel North the total number of children under the age of 18 would not fill one 18 to 20 pupil classroom.  There isn't any other open space available in Mays Chapel North for the Department of Recreation and Parks

We understand the Baltimore County Council is now working to find open space in   Northern Baltimore County? If you care about the park please attend this meeting because we need all the help we can get to stop the removal of our park!
