All But 19 Baltimore County Public Schools to be Open Wednesday
Ridgely Middle School, Pot Spring Elementary, Pinewood Elementary and Timonium Elementary are the four schools in Lutherville-Timonium to remain closed.
The official start of the Baltimore County Public School year will begin Wednesday for all but 19 schools, the schools system announced Tuesday afternoon.
Four Lutherville-Timonium schools will remain closed because of power outages and damage caused by Hurricane Irene.

“It’s time to get back to school,” said Baltimore County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Joe A. Hairston in a statement. “With the help of BGE and our county partners, we have made tremendous progress in getting power turned back on at our schools, and I appreciate the patience and understanding of parents, students, and staff across Baltimore County.”
