POLL: Who's Your Favorite Towson High Grad?

From Olympic stars to actors, Towson High School has graduated plenty of notable names.

Patch wants to know who's your favorite alum.

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, the owner of 16 Olympic medals, made history in 2008 when he earned a record eight gold medals in Beijing.

Harris Glenn Milstead, better known as Divine, starred in John Waters' earlier works, most notably "Pink Flamingos" and "Hairspray."

Zach Merrick is bassist for pop-punk band

Evan Farmer is an actor known for MTV's boy-band parody series "2ge+her" and as host of "While You Were Out" and CMT's "Top 20 Countdown."

Ellen Sauerbrey is a former state delegate and minority leader in the Maryland House of Delegates. She ran for governor against Parris Glendening in 1994 and 1998 and later headed the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration from 2006 to 2007.

If there's another notable grad you're thinking of (I'll just excuse myself from the running), let us know in the comments.

Divine, how can his choice of food be a winner? Towson is not quite "Jersey Shore," at least I hope not.

My choice was Divine, with the exception of my 3 kids, a step-kid and all their friends.

Here are two more from the class of 1951: Brig. Gen. James Shufelt and Dr. Geary Stonesifer Jr., thoracic surgeon at GBMC.

I'll tell you what there are some great people in these comments. Good story concept.
