Steve Bauer and Marianne Wittlesberger brought to Timonium and delight Lutherville annually with a famous neighborhood around Halloween. They've made with the flick of their brush strokes.
When they're not or working on a movie set, Wittlesberger and Bauer are in their workshop at teaching students their trade as professional make-up artists.
Patch took a peak inside a five-day mini-course offered at Towson, which was packed. During the class, the nine students were tasked with transforming themselves with stage make-up and prosthetics.
The course, according to Bauer, is one that is typically offered only in major film markets, such as Los Angeles, New York or Miami.
Bauer said that his students, equipped with special talents in the arts, often go on to work on major film productions and in commercial work.
