Mom: Well what did you do?

Student A: We learned to play football like the Ravens!

Mom: That sounds fun.

Student A: Yeah! And I kicked a field goal with Super Bowl winner!

Mom: Wait... what?

That's the conversation—to some degree—that scores of parents had with their kids yesterday in Lutherville.

Former Baltimore Ravens kicker Matt Stover generously donated his time Friday evening giving back to his community at the 15th annual Lutherville Fall Family Funfest.

Stover taught a lenghty line of Lutherville Laboratory Elementary school and pre-teen children how to kick like a Raven. He patiently guided the kids, "three steps back and two to the side," before swinging through the ball.

Stover currently spends part of time as an NFL Ambassador counseling collegiate athletes to devote time to the studies. He's also involved in the NFL Play 60 initiative, which encourages children to get out and play for 60 minutes a day.
