Baltimore County Courthouse Dome Going Gold for Tigers

The dome will be illuminated in with a gold light to honor Towson University's football team.

The dome of the historic Baltimore County Courthouse will be bathed in gold light starting Tuesday in honor of the Towson University football team.

The Tigers take on North Dakota in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision title game at 2 p.m., Saturday in Frisco, Texas.

"When the Towson football team takes the field this Saturday, we want them to know that all of Baltimore County is on the sideline with them," said Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz said in a news release. "The Tigers have had an amazing run, and we are so proud to be home to this great program.  Being underdogs is nothing new for Coach Ambrose's team, so I would say look out Bisons."
