Towsontowne Recreation and Parks Council is offering an open skate roller skating program every other Saturday, starting Oct. 23, 2010, for kids ages 5 through 12. It is not a lessons program. Participants are advised to wear helmets, knee and elbow pads for safety. There will be leaders on hand to monitor the activity. A parent or guardian must remain with skaters under age 6. Donation is $5 for each session. Participants can bring their own skates, and rollerblades are allowed. Refreshments will be sold.
