Ravens Youth Football Grants Available

The Baltimore Ravens Youth Football Grant Program offers help to Lutherville-Timonium programs.

The Ravens and their partners are offering funding for non-profit youth football programs around Maryland.

The Ravens Youth Football Grant Program, supported by Under Armour, offers eligible youth tackle and flag football teams an apparel grant worth more than $1,000 in jerseys, cleats or accessories, according to a news release from the organization.

Visit BaltimoreRavens.com/youthfootball to apply, and submit an application before April 30.

The Ravens contribute more than 800 sets of cleats and weight training equipment to local football programs each year. The franchise is also active with player and coaching clinics, as well as recognizing the efforts of players and coaches at local schools with awards and halftime competitions.

The Ravens have also helped to outfit Poly and Mervo with new football stadiums in the city, as well as restoring the City Springs School football field on the city's east side, according to the news release. The team also donated uniforms to 18 public high school teams in the city.

The decision about the grants, provided by the Ravens All Community Team Foundation, will be made in May.
