Zips Dry Cleaners in Timonium is bar far the worst business/cleaners I have ever dealt with! I have been going there for about two years. I have tolerated the mediocre service and questionable quality because of the price.
They have recently ruined my wife's $200 Ann Taylor linen dress. They shrunk the linen and the lining is now two inches longer that the actual material. When I went back to show it to the "manager" last Friday, nobody could help me. They said they would "re-do" it again, in hopes that it would correct itself! I go back on Monday and they tell me it is not finished and don't know where it is! I tell them they need to find it and like magic, they found it. Now the linen is even shorter that before! I remained cordial though my blood pressure was so high I thought my head would explode! Once again I told them it was unacceptable and that "Dulce" would have the manager "Carla" call me today (Tuesday). Since I did not hear from Carla I went to the store and guess what? Carla doesn't work on Tuesday (so I am told) I asked for the owners name and they all looked horrified! The reluctantly gave me a name of Adrian and when I asked for her last name, no one could remember it!
I will keep trying to get this issue resolved and keep this blog updated. If anyone else has additional horror stories, please post them!
PS, the store is absolutely filthy and has ceiling tiles missing and discolored from rain/condensation.
AVOID THIS PLACE AND PAY A LITTLE MORE, IT IS WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN!
