Readers' Choice: Best Place To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Vote in our poll and let your voice be heard in the comments section below.

Sláinte!—It's a common Irish toast meaning "to your good health," as well as the name of a popular Fells Point bar. But here at Patch, we're more interested in the former meaning, and where you'll be saying it this weekend as you celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Lutherville-Timonium.  Take a moment to vote in our poll and tell us in the comments, where is the best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Lutherville-Timonium. Send a little Luck O' The Irish to one of the following restaurant/bars, or add another option if you think we missed one.   Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below or in the reviews on their directory listings …

GREAT ESCAPE: The Still Hosts Classic Rock Cover Band

Patch finds a fun parents' night out each week so you can keep your babysitters employed!

What do Eric Clapton, Jimmy Buffet, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen and Alice Cooper have in common? Their music is all in the set list of a local cover band, SouthPaw, playing this Saturday night, June 11, at An Poitin Stil. “The Still,” as Timonium’s Irish pub is known, often hosts live music on its stage, and SouthPaw is a regular feature, usually playing the second Friday of every month. This month, they are playing on a Saturday. SouthPaw plays the kind of music where everybody knows the words. “They do the top 40 songs from the 1960s and 1970s,” said JoAnn Fauth of Cockeysville, wife of the lead singer and lead guitarist Steve Fauth. “It’s music from 30 and 40 years ago—all the songs we know and love, and know all the words to.” …
