Locally grown produce, freshly fermented wine, raised livestock and more are back on the menu this week. The Baltimore County Farmers' Market kicks off the summer season Wednesday at the Maryland State Fairgrounds and will continue through October. New this year is the sweet inclusion of the Prigel Family Creamery and its homemade ice cream. “Our market is unique in that it is exclusively run by Baltimore County farmers with high-quality Baltimore County raised produce and more,” said Baltimore County Farmers Market Master Bill Langlotz in a release. “A variety of fresh in-season fruit and vegetables starting with strawberries, asparagus, spinach, lettuce, spring onions and more will be available each week," he continued.
