A Week Without Crime

No major incidents were reported in the Lutherville-Timonium area last week.

How many communities can say they experience weeks without a single major incident reported to local authorities? Lutherville-Timonium residents can make that claim for the second time now in 2012. There were no major incidents (burglaries, robberies, assaults, etc.) reported between March 12 and 18, according to a log kept at the Baltimore County Police Department, Precinct 7 in Cockeysville.  Neighbors in Cockeysville and Towson, however, cannot say the same thing, although reports indicate that crime is down compared to the same time last year in North County. Lutherville-Timonium Crime Log: Ex-Girlfriend Accused of Robbery, Assault

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Blondell Court, unit block, Sept. 6, between 7 p.m. and 7:35 p.m. A dark red mountain bike was stolen from a backyard. Patch reported a 14-year-old boy was arrested last week for breaking into houses in the same neighborhood.  York Road, 1500 block, Sept. 7, between 6:40 a.m. and 6:46 a.m. A man's ex-girlfriend allegedly robbed him of $35 in a 7-Eleven parking lot. Janine Yolanda Jackson, 45, allegedly approached the victim and began to kick him while demanding money. Jackson, a Baltimore woman, was accompanied by an unidentified male who stated, "Just kick it out" to the victim, who handed over the cash. Both suspects fled in a gold color sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus, according to the incident report.  CORRECTION: Greenmeadow Road, 100 …
