Police Requesting Public's Assistance to Prevent Daytime Burglaries

There were two incidents reported in the northern part of the county yesterday.

Two daytime burglaries reported in the Parkton area Thursday have once again prompted Baltimore County Police Capt. Martin Lurz to issue a statement to local residents, reminding them to be vigilant and aware of suspicious behavior. (See below.) Police have taken additional steps to cut down on the rise in daytime burglaries, which have been a source of worry for homeowners throughout the county, including the Lutherville-Timonium, Cockeysville and North County areas.  In some cases, burglars have canvassed neighborhoods disguised as door-to-door solicitors.
