Lutherville-Timonium Crime: Businesses, Homes Burglarized

Burglars had to work a little harder this week for their scores. It seems Timonium residents have begun to take to heart the persistent police advice: "lock your doors and windows." In only one of the five reported burglaries last week did a thief take advantage of an unlocked door. And it was for whopping $9—in quarters. Read last week's crime log here. Miscreants however did pry, smash, break and rip into locked or fenced-in properties for cash and in one instance a considerable chunk of copper wire. the problem is the police/DA's office dont follow through/prosecute these crimes so it pays...i'm sure if more of these intruders were greeted by pitbulls and showers of bullets they would feel less enthusiastic about following a life of crime more ›
