Cockeysville Gelding Drive, 10300 block. Between 7:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. May 1. A burglar broke through drywall to access adjoining units at an apartment complex. A television, laptop, blank check and hard drive were all stolen from one of the units. Hometown Way, 300 block. Between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. April 29. A television, a laptop and two diamond rings were stolen from a residence. Phoenix Manor Road, 14700 block. Between 1:15 p.m. and 5:47 p.m. May 3. Tools were stolen from the garage of a residence. A black, semi-automatic gun with ejection port was reportedly used in the crime.
A 7-Eleven clerk was threatened at gunpoint by a robber Tuesday in Cockeysville. At just before 12:15 p.m., a male "pointed a gun at (the) clerk and demanded money," according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department's Cockeysville precinct. The robber stole cash, and ran from the store, located at 11221 York Road, the report states. The gun was described as a"black, semi-automatic with silver ejection port," the report states. The alleged robber was described as a male wearing white tennis shoes, dark jeans, a black hoodie, and a blue bandana around his face, it states. He had a black watch and he wore a cap. His gloves had "red on the finger area."

Cockeysville York Road. 10500 block. Between 3:30 p.m. April 17 and 10:30 a.m. April 18. A burglar came into a fenced-in lot and stole copper wiring. Lutherville Orthoridge Road. Unit block. Between 2-10 p.m. April 18. A burglar got into a home through a basement window and stole a laptop computer, paintball gun and cash. The home was ransacked, as well, according to the April 19 report. Timonium Charmuth Road. 1115, at Roy Kirby & Sons Construction site. Between April 12-15, at unknown times. A burglar cut through fencing and stole an Interstate battery from a Bobcat loader.

A Cockeysville business was the target of a second-degree burglary.
Tammy's Nail & Spa lost nail polish, skin cream, lotion and more after a burglary overnight Friday. Between 9 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, a burglar used a rock to break a front door window to the business at 562 Cranbrook Road, according to a report by Baltimore County police. "Once inside, the suspect removed the products from the glass display and money from the drawers," it states. Also stolen were three manicure machines.

Two female employees were forced at gunpoint to open a safe and cash registers, at the Cockeysville store, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Men from Randallstown and Baltimore were charged with armed robbery after an alleged hold-up Saturday night at McDonald's in Cockeysville. Nicholaus Duane Megginson, 24, of the 4300 block of Breeders Cup Circle in Randallstown, and Dahrod Lovis Davenport, 22, of the 4100 block of Richard Avenue in North Baltimore were charged with armed robbery, according to court records. Both are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center: Davenport without bail, and Megginson on $500,000 bail, court records state. At 11:15 p.m., two men came into the restaurant, located at 11310 York Rd., and allegedly demanded money from the employees, according to Baltimore County police. On Friday, two men rushed the business and put the owner in a walk-in freezer.
Baltimore County Police Department's Robbery Unit is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday in Cockeysville. In that incident, two masked and armed gunmen rushed across the street to Ashland Cafe where the owner was at the side door. They tied him with metallic tape and put him in the walk-in freezer, then stole money, guns and his phone. More details are not being released, said Det. Cathleen Batton, department spokeswoman. The Baltimore County Police Department said there's no evidence of how the criminal got inside the residence.
A burglar vandalized a Cockeysville man's apartment with ketchup, salad dressing and bleach. Between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 4:45 a.m. Sunday, the sburglar poured the condiments and chemical over the couch, bed, wall and carpet at the apartment in the unit block of Misty Wood Circle. Nothing was stolen, and it's not certain how the burglar got inside the home, the report states.

A protest brought police out to the Maryland Masonic Homes at International Circle this week in Cockeysville. According to a report by Baltimore County police, on Tuesday, seven people were protesting out front. They protested that a contract at the senior-care services facility was recently awarded to a company that does not use union employees, the report states. That particular job, at 300 International Circle, involves asbestos removal and renovations to part of the house, it states. Cockeysville. Stirrup Court. Unit block. Between March 9 and 7:30 p.m. March 26. A burglar got into an apartment by unknown means and stole a laptop computer and flatscreen TV. There were no signs of forced entry.

Woman thought she was sending money to bail her grandson out of jail.
A Phoenix woman was deceived by thieves who tried to swindle her out of $48,500, but Baltimore County police stopped the theft before her money was gone forever. "The electronic transfer was stopped by detectives," said Det. Cathleen Batton, spokeswoman for the police department. It was March 13 when the woman, 81, received a telephone call in which someone "advised her grandson needed $48,000 to bail him out" of jail, according to a police report. She wired the money to the suspect's account in California, then contacted her grandson in New Jersey and found that the story she heard on the phone wasn't true, police said. "Schemes where suspects attempt to get the victims to send money for a variety of reasons are not uncommon," Batton said…

Three men stole cash.
A Cockeysville man was robbed of cash at Cranbrook and Sorely roads as he walked home last week. The victim was robbed at 11 p.m. on March 13 when three men attacked him and demanded money, according to a news release from Baltimore County police. The robbers took $11 from the victim. One suspect is described as of unknown race, about 5-foot-8 and weighing 200 pounds. He wore all-black clothing and a ski mask. Another is a black male, about 25-30 years old, 5-foot-8 and weighing 200 pounds, with short, black hair and unknown clothing. The third suspect is described as a 20-year-old black man, who is 5-foot-6, and weighs 150 pounds.
