Second Half Surge Secures Win Against Catholic High
The Gators managed to comeback on a three-goal scoring streak after slow start
St. Paul's girls soccer team rebounded from a home loss earlier in the week to defeat Catholic High, 3-2, Friday at Herring Run Park. Two early goals from corner kicks, four and 10 minutes into the match, put the Gators in a tough spot. Coach Don Keener pulled freshman goalie Tiffany McKee following both scores and replaced her with senior Maria Stavarkis. But the Gators' net-minder wasn't the only position that needed sharpening.
