Man Robbed of 112 Oxycodone Pills

The investigation is ongoing following the theft outside a pharmacy, police said.

Hitchhiking could be dangerous for both passengers seeking a ride and drivers offering a lift to complete strangers. In the case of one man last week, the former became all too apparent. Police are investigating a robbery involving the theft  of 112 Oxycodone pills—a powerful painkiller, typically prescribed to patients following a surgical procedure A 28-year-old man’s car broke down about 5 p.m. on April 16 in Frederick, according to the Towson Times. Three men offered the soon-to-be-victim a ride to a pharmacy in the 1100 block of York Road, Baltimore County police spokeswoman Detective Cathy Batton said.
