Heymann Indicted as Alleged Shooter

The case involving a Pennsylvania man who was shot in a purported hunting-related shooting has been forwarded to Circuit Court.

Harford County resident Richard Heymann was indicted this week in Baltimore County on charges he shot and injured a Pennsylvania man in late November. The indictment was handed down on Dec. 19, according to the Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office. A preliminary hearing had originally been scheduled for Friday morning. Heymann stands accused of shooting and severely wounding 43-year-old Christopher E. Kinne, of Lancaster, PA. Kinne was shot in northern Baltimore County on Nov. 27 while reportedly hunting on private property, according to court records. Former City Police Officer Facing 35 Years For Shooting Incident

Richard Heymann allegedly shot a man Monday in Parkton for reportedly hunting illegally and trespassing.

A former Baltimore City police officer is facing up to 35 years in prison if he is convicted of shooting a man who was allegedly trespassing, court records show. Richard Michael Heymann, 42, was officially charged Wednesday with first- and second-degree assault. He has since been released on $75,000 bond. Heymann, of the 3000 block of Hillsdale Court in Abingdon, MD, was found by police Tuesday morning tending to a man’s gunshot wounds in the 300 block of West Stablers Church Road in Parkton, MD, in northern Baltimore County. UPDATE: Harford County Man Charged With Assault After Shooting

A Pennsylvania man was reportedly trespassing in northern Baltimore County before he was shot in the leg.
