I'm an Idlewylde mother of three who thinks, why spend money on something if you can make it!

I've always been a little artistic and crafty. I've been a photographer for my entire life, and I started decorating birthday cakes when my daughter was born in the the 90's. I ended up as the resident cake maker, and photographer, for my friends and family.

In March 2009, I was laid off from my full-time job as a district manager of a photography company after 8 years. That spring, trying to rework my budget, I made my teenage daughter a belt out of a jaquard ribbon. She wore it to school and got many compliments and a request from a friend to make her one. So that's when I started making belts and selling them on Etsy, and my company, Froggy Pants Creations, was born. 

Soon I started setting up at flea markets and church bazaars, but belts were not enough. I added headbands, hair clips, jewelry a few other items. Now I have what I call my mobile showroom! You can find Froggy Pants Creations at the Towson Farmers Market every Thursday, area festivals and craft shows, several stores in the area or online at www.froggypants.com.
