ReplyBut John........ you have to have the Baltimore's label of "Believe". Believe that there are concerned citizens like Mr. Friese (who has the time and dedication) that care for what is correct/right. If we keep on pushing, there absolutely will be a bigger consequence. Hopefully.

ReplyOkay M. Sullivan. I had actually thought that after I posted my prior comment that some people may assume I was on my high horse so I should have mentioned that I am imperfect, have made mistakes, just like most people in the world. No need to attack me on my choice of a Jeep. In all honesty, it was my first car I bought on my own as a young adult and I've had nothing but trouble with it! Lesson learned. However, back to Huff. Okay with people making bad choices. Hey no one is perfect... Right? But for his demeanor to be "Don't you know who I am" and "I want to phone the police chief" and "I don't like attorney's" says more of the person he is rather than his possibly forgivable "mistake" at driving after many drinks and not stopping immediately for the officer. Do we want someone with that arrogance and disrespect our our council? I think not. As "George" stated, this is more about his behaviors and judgement in everyday life. By the way, "Winning!"

ReplyNot surprised that he has continued his behavior at the Towson Elks Lodge, which is where he has visited for over 15 years. Notorious place for well known, high profile people like Todd Huff (arrogant assholes) who are served any amount of liquor. It's almost like a private club. Wouldn't surprise me if they had a candy room for drugs at that place. Raid it and revoke liquor license. Hello? And remove the crook from county councilman office already!

ReplyJust to be clear, I mean no disrespect for any high schoolers commenting. I was simply stating that the justice system is something to be learned over time. You can't just google it in a night. I am all about keeping kids safe and bettering communities so just wanted to make that clear. Also bullied or not, that is no excuse in this case for Mr. Gladden. Kudos to Judge Cahill for doing his job. Keep this sociopath narcissistic adult minded adolescent in J A I L.

ReplyGladden confessed. That he premeditatedly planned to bring a gun to school, shoot a couple kids and then turn the gun on himself. It was luck that no one was killed. That is it. Stick to the facts people. That is attempted murder. I have a feeling a lot of commenters may be in high school and not know the law as someone in their thirties (me). In time, you all will learn it in schooling and such. I believe the parents of Daniel (boy who was shot) are still in shock as they seem to act very forgiving on camera as shown in the news today. If someone were to shoot my son, I would not be that forgiving so soon in the first year that such an event almost broke my family...
With that said, Gladden deserves everything he learns and loses out on for the next 35 years. It was sheer terror he caused students, faculty and the community that day. Don't forget what those people went through and what they may still be going through. -

ReplyWow. It is nice to see I am not alone in my frustration for Mr. Huff to immediately be removed from his place as county councilman. I like what Mr. Friese (commenter) is doing. We need more people like this commenter in our county. Mr. Huff-you can rest assured that you have completely ruined your character, reputation and my respect. Ironic how I own and drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee and work my a@@ off to pay for it. I also don't drive under the influence EVER because I have morals and values and I believe in being a good person in my community. I believe in the justice system, and am a proud American. I can only hope Mr. Huff gets help through rehab for his alcohol abuse/addiction.

ReplyI can say that this man has had this coming for over a decade. I knew him personally and by the looks of this article and the police report, he hasn't changed a bit or sought help for his drinking problem. I can absolutely hear him saying "Do you know who I am?" because that is the type of cocky man he has always been. Being a councilman was just a power kick to him. I say he should lose his position immediately and sadly, he will probably get a PBJ as it was the first time he was caught and not let go. I put money on it that he's been caught before and just paid off the cop.
