New media refers to on-demand access to content any time, anywhere, on any digital device, as well as interactive user feedback, creative participation. Another aspect of new media is the real-time generation of new, unregulated content. Especially unregulated.

There was a supportive rally on a Friday morning at 10AM where more than 1000 people showed up to support this legislation, It was well documented. The vast majority of people asked said they supported universal background checks, requirements that allowed the State police to monitor gun dealers who claim to "lose" a big proportion of their inventory, and fingerprinting licensing requirements. These things are widely supported because they work. This will survive a referendum, even if outside corporate gun manufacturing money pours in here to try to over turn it. Maryland citizens are tired of the gun violence and we have stood up to do something about it. This is good legislation. It will save lives.

the second amendment gives you the right to "bear arms", which we interpret as "own guns". It doesn't say that you can own all the gun all the time... It you own a gun your right has not been infringed.
