CRIME LOG: Boy Arrested After Two Alleged Break-in Attempts

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Greenmeadow Road, 100 block, on Sept. 3 between 7:15 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. $600 was stolen from a ransacked basement. The burglar used a brick to smash the handle off the basement door in order to get inside. 

Sourthbourne Road, 1900 block Sept. 2, between 6 p.m. and 6:09 p.m. An intruder was caught trespassing in a garage. It is believed that he was rummaging through both cars that were parked in the garage. Nothing was reported stolen. The suspect was spotted "multiple times" through Timonium, but could not be located, according to the incident report. 

Blondell Court, unit block, on Aug. 31 between 4:10 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. A 14-year-old Lutherville boy was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree burglary after allegedly attempting to break into two homes by forcing open the basement door. Police arrested the boy at his home in the unit block of Crotana Court.

East Padonia Road, unit block, between Aug. 29 and Aug. 30, between 6 p.m. and 8:43 a.m. A purse and jewelry were stolen from a display in , a clothing and jewelry boutique in the Padonia Village Shopping Center.
