Man Dies After Morning Truck Crash

Police confirm one victim dead, two others hospitalized at area trauma units.

A man involved in Wednesday morning's truck crash died yesterday as a result of injuries, while two other passengers suffered serious injuries, according to Baltimore County police.

Sheldon Mitchell Walker, 26, was driving the truck that collided with a tree Wednesday morning. He was transported to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

Both passengers in the 1999 Ford F-350 Crew Cab suffered serous injuries. Ajani Maillard, 30, a front-seat passenger, was transported to Shock Trauma. The third passenger, Peter Duffy, 27, was also transported to Shock Trauma. He remains in critical condition.

that a truck belonging to Triumvirate Environmental, an environmental services firm with offices in Baltimore, crashed into a tree in the 300 block of Meadowcroft Lane off of Dulaney Valley Road in Lutherville-Timonium. 

The large green truck left the road and crossed over a resident's yard before careening through a fence and smashing into a tree.

The truck sustained extensive front end damage, trapping the driver and the passengers inside the vehicle.
