There have been two Powerball jackpot-winning-tickets purchased in Maryland since the game came to the state in January 2010, according to Maryland Lottery spokeswoman Erica Palmisano.
An anonymous couple from Pennsylvania won $128 million in December 2011. The ticket was purchased in Elkton, MD. The other winning ticket was purchased in Abingdon, MD by an anonymous couple in September 2011. They won $108.8 million.
