Crime: 7 Burglaries Reported Over Holiday Week

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Margarette Avenue, 1300 block, between 9 a.m., Nov. 23 and 3:29 p.m., Nov. 25. A burglar failed in an attempt to break into a home.

Belfast Road, unit block, between 5:30 p.m., Nov. 21 and 2:45 p.m., Nov. 24. Jewelry, a jewelry box, clothing and change were stolen from a Timonium home. The burglar pried open the deadbolt to get inside.

Cinder Road, 100 block, between 8 p.m., Nov. 21 and 3 p.m., Nov. 24. A burglar stole a ring, laptop, change, watch and white pillow case from a Timonium home.

Wendslow Road, unit block, between 11:20 and 11:36 p.m., Nov. 23. A burglar tripped a homeowner’s alarm. Police arrived to discover the rear door forced open. The homeowner was out of town at the time of the break-in. It is unknown if anything was stolen.

Evans Avenue, unit block, between 11 a.m. and 11:18 p.m., Nov. 23. A woman told police that when she came home she heard someone upstairs. No intruder was found, although the rear kitchen window screen was destroyed, and some items in the house had been moved around. Nothing was reported missing.

Tally Ho Road, 8400 block, between 1 and 3 p.m., Nov. 21. A burglar stole silverware and jewelry after forcing open the rear basement door.

Railroad Avenue, 1400 block, between 6:30 and 10:15 a.m., Nov. 21. A burglar stole 30 feet of copper wire.
