Police Identify Victim Killed by Light Rail

The cause and manner of death in the incident are still pending.

Police have identified the woman  on Dec. 12.

Baltimore County police released the following information Monday morning:

"The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has identified the woman struck by a light rail train in Precinct 7/Cockeysville on December 12 as Janet Elizabeth Tennekoon, 66, of the unit-block of Nightingale Way, 21093. The cause and manner of death are still pending."

Tennekoon had reportedly purchased a coffee at the store on Seminary Avenue .

Her body was found about 500 yards from the intersection of Seminary and Railroad avenues.
