Police Seeking Information Regarding Lutherville Light Rail Shooting

A 35-year-old man was shot while waiting on the platform at the end of West Ridgely Road Friday.

Baltimore County police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding the person responsible for a shooting at the Lutherville light rail stop last week.

The victim, Harold J. Blandon, Jr., 35, was shot in the face while standing on the light rail platform in the 100 block of West Ridgely Road, at 4:15 p.m., Jan. 25. He is still receiving medical attention. His condition remains unknown.

Blandon was waiting for the train to take him home after work.

“Detectives want to speak to anyone who was on the platform at or near the time of the shooting," according to a release. "Detectives believe that—even if you did not witness the shooting itself—you may have seen or heard something that may help them with this investigation."

Police are currently attempting to determine whether or not Bladon was targeted during the attack.
