Actor Kevin Kilner's credits include an impressive list of television and film appearances including recurring roles in One Tree Hill, Greek and Earth: Final Conflict—a career that dates back to 1989, with the role of "Steve" in The Cosby Show.
But before he became an actor, he was first and foremost, a Lion—a Dulaney High School Lion to be exact.
Kilner graduated from the Timonium high school in 1976. He went on to Johns Hopkins University where he played midfield for the school's lacrosse team, which won three national championships between 1978-80, according to his IMDB page.
On Tuesday, Kilner returned to his alma mater to speak to the school's budding thespians about acting, theatre and music classes, as part of the Center Stage community education relations department.
Kilner is currently starring in the Center Stage rendition of Arthur Miller's An Enemy of the People. The show closes Oct. 21.
Drama teacher Susan Lev-Tairstein said, “Kevin Kilner provided articulate insights to both the play we will be seeing him perform in “Enemy of the People” and the professional life of an actor. Insights that can only be gained through 28 years in the performing arts. It was such a great opportunity for the students, one I hope we can provide more often."
